Dear MFI,

I’ve always been interested in espionage.  When I was 12 I got a pair of shoes with a compass in the bottom (I still have them if required) and a pen with invisible ink.  Also, Gloria, my wife, (I’m her husband) is always going on about how secretive I can be.

  Someone once told me that MFI recruited their new recruits using coded messages in the paper and I’ve always looked out for these.  Imagine my surprise when I saw a full page advert of yours in the paper announcing a ‘sale’.  Very clever.

 Am I the only one who has spotted your recruitment advert?  If Berti Noames from across the road applies, tell him I see him peeping at me through the curtains.  A good spy doesn’t get noticed.  Also, I've been through his rubbish and he’s not the sort of character you’re after.

Anyway could you let me know if I’ve got the job?
